I'm a technical fashion designer from London. I got my first job in fashion at the age of 15 stapling swatch cards together!

Since then, I've helped hundreds of brands to go from design idea to commercial product lines. I’ve been designing & creating tech packs for more than a decade for household name brands and independent designers around the world.

As my career as a designer progressed, I noticed how hard it was to explain our designs to our factory in an efficient way. I started working on my own method for simplifying the communication process with our factories.

Fast forward to present day, and our format has gone though countless iterations and improvements. And has gone on to help thousands of products launch… from clothing, accessories, home textiles and even pet products!

  • While there are no official industry standards for tech packs, this template reflects typical tech packs. It's up to you to fill it in correctly.

  • You have a few options. You can open the .xlts template files and edit in Excel. There is a Google Sheets template & Adobe Illustrator versions as well. Or you can open the PDF template files in a PDF editor. You can also print the templates and fill in by hand.

    All template versions are the same, choose 1 file type to download based on which software you already have.
