Tech Packs Co. is a design and development studio that helps textile product and fashion brands, take their ideas from concept to creation.

We support emerging and established product brands in designing, developing, and producing high-quality garments and accessories—helping them bring industry-standard products to life faster, more profitably, and with greater efficiency.

We are looking to hire a genius, confident, detail-oriented pattern maker & product developer who can support our client project delivery, development workflows, and product creation process from start to finish.

This is a hybrid position: primarily Work-From-Home with occasional in-person days in Downtown LA at the Tech Packs Co office for fittings, sample reviews, or collecting reference materials.

ABOUT THE OFFER

You’ll be providing product development services, including design, tech design, pattern creation, Clo3D development, sourcing, sample management, and production support.

We help brands develop high-quality products that align with their goals, budgets, timelines, and supply chain requirements.

YOUR ROLE

As a company, our goal is to grow Tech Packs Co with more clients and continue solidifying our brand as the industry standard in product development. We are laying the groundwork now to do so. We are seeking your help with supporting our client delivery and maintaining the general ongoing services of the company.


You must have experience in fashion, apparel/accessories production, garment design, product development, or a related field—and feel comfortable learning and applying our philosophies and systems.

This position requires:

  • Availability during Pacific Time business hours for client calls

  • Availability for the weekly team meeting: Tuesdays, 11AM Philippines Standard Time (Mondays 8PM PST / 7PM PDT)

  • Availability to respond to Slack messages within 1 business day

  • Ability to attend occasional in-person days in Downtown LA

ONGOING TASKS:

Assisting our clients at a baseline will look like this:

• Working with clients (product brands) to take their ideas into physical product form
• Helping brands merchandise ranges and plan production
• Designing products based on goals, budgets, timelines, fabric choices, and supply chain needs
• Creating digital sewing patterns and 3D samples in Clo3D for new style development
• Working with the tech design team to create tech packs
• Sourcing fabrics, trims, and components
• Managing the sample-making process—fittings, revisions, documentation
• Leading client calls and providing strategy, feedback, and progress updates
• Daily communication with clients via email following our inbox policies
• Daily communication with suppliers via email and WhatsApp Business
• Keeping all files, assets, samples, and materials organized and properly labeled
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality work that meets our high standards of accuracy and excellence
• Upholding all company values in day-to-day communication and execution

PROJECT BASED TASKS

As a small and growing business, new projects may arise. You may assist with:

  • Supporting new workflows or services

  • Participating in future launches

  • Helping with photoshoots or creative development

  • Working with evolving AI workflow integration as the tech develops

We value flexibility and openness to new opportunities!

IN PERSON TASKS

  • Attending fittings at the Tech Packs Co. studio

  • Reviewing samples in person or picking up or dropping off samples, reference items, or materials

  • Monthly or occasional office visits in Downtown LA (frequency may vary)

All in-person days will be communicated in advance.

A Week in the Life Could Look Like:

You join our weekly team meeting with updates from clients and suppliers. You check our project management tool for deadlines, review sample progress, follow up with factories, and prepare for a client fitting.

You create or update sewing patterns in Clo3D, collaborate with our tech design team on a tech pack, and annotate revisions from a sample review.

You lead client calls to provide strategic guidance on merchandising, timelines, or sourcing.

You reply to clients and suppliers in alignment with our communication policies and maintain proactive contact to keep all projects moving smoothly.

You label and organize new samples, reference materials and file revision history, documenting each change clearly. All work is shared on our team drives.

WORK EXPECTATIONS

This is a hybrid role, with flexible schedule with ongoing deadlines for all client delivery at Tech Packs Co.

You are expected to:

  • Maintain a strong internet connection

  • Have a quiet workspace for client calls

  • Attend in-person fittings or sample reviews when required

  • Communicate proactively and manage expectations clearly

  • Uphold the highest standards of detail and quality

This is a contracted role.

  • 10 hours a week at $35 per hour

  • Annual stipend for equipment and professional/personal development

  • 20 (pro-rated) PTO days

CANDIDATE PREFERENCES

We prefer at least 60% of the following skills. However, you’re welcome to apply even if you do not meet every requirement but have strong product development experience:
