Alongside your Tech Packs
These services will be completed in the same project as your tech packs, as soon as the tech packs are approved.
TECH PACK source FILEs
~ 1 week, completed after tech pack approval
File Format: Excel & Illustrator
$145
Don’t want our help keeping your tech pack up to date during sampling and production? If you prefer to take care of this yourself, we can provide you with an editable Adobe Illustrator file containing your tech packs. The section containing your measurements will be provided as a Microsoft Excel file.
Keep your sketches on hand if you want to edit them yourself later… or use as you wish in your marketing. Includes additional Adobe Illustrator working files with black/white sketches and all other colorways your design comes in.
Please note: Choosing this option means that if you ask us to make updates for you later, it will take us longer to do with this file structure.
Let us know before we start the tech pack and we will complete the tech pack for you specially in Microsoft Excel. (We therefore won’t be able to honor the prices below if you ask for these files after we’ve begun your tech packs).
SIZE CHARTs
~ 1 week, completed after tech pack approval
File Format: PDF
$250
Does your brand have an up to date size chart that you can show to customers?
It’s essential that your customers can see what your sizes measure up to, so they can select the correct size to buy!
A size chart includes your bust, waist and hip body measurements for each size that you produce.
Patterns
~ 1-2 weeks, completed after tech pack approval
File Format: DXF
$325 - simple designs up to 10 pieces
$475 - complex designs 10-22 pieces
A pattern is the literal template shape a factory will draw around, to cut pieces of your fabric out from. After cutting, the correct shape pieces are sewn together to make your accessory or garment.
Patterns are necessary for all sewing, you may want to purchase patterns directly from us if you’re not sure your factory can make patterns for you, or you don’t like the way your patterns were made by your factory in the past. Approve your patterns sooner than if they were made overseas by your factory.
Patterns will be sent to you in DXF file format (the most common interchangeable pattern format). Any factory or CAD software should be able to open this – and convert to their own software’s native format if needed. We can send you a PDF copy too if you would like to open them on your own computer and take a look.
Additional pattern pieces + $15 p/piece
Patterns & 3D samples
~ 1-2 weeks, completed after tech pack approval
$495 - simple designs up to 10 pcs + 3 colorways
$595 - complex designs over 10-22 pcs + 3 colorways
Get a life-like view of your design, without having to wait for a sample to be cut and sewn. The 3D sample is made directly from your sewing pattern – this is a chance to preview how the pattern is cut as well as the design. Get an idea of how your design looks in your chosen fabric type. The 3D sample will display differently based on how your fabric drapes or stretches.
Check the fit of your design, spec measurements and pattern and save time in your development process
3D samples will be sent to you as image files that anybody can open! Front, back & side views will be included, as well as any other necessary angles.
Please note: You will need to send us a brand size chart, with correct body measurements to use for the 3D model (or have us create one for you).
Additional pattern pieces + $15 p/piece
Additional colorways + $50 p/color
